In spring 2007 Windward Teacher Training Institute, a division of Windward School, became an accredited IMSLEC training center, enabling the WTTI to offer national certification in Multisensory Structured Language Education.

IMSLEC, International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council, accredits training centers which meet rigorous criteria and instructional program standards for preparing specialists in Multisensory Structured Language Education. We are only the fifth training center in New York State to receive accreditation.
