From Connecticut/Merritt Parkway: Take the Merritt Parkway South, which becomes the Hutchinson River Parkway, to Exit 26W (287 West - Westchester Avenue). Stay in right lane on service road (Westchester Avenue). *Make immediate right at Red Oak Lane sign. (follow sign for Renaissance Hotel). Turn right at stop sign onto West Red Oak Lane. Entrance to Windward School is less than one eighth mile on left.

From Connecticut Turnpike/I-95: Take I-95 South to Exit 21 (287 West). Follow this to Exit 9 N-S. Proceed on the service road (Westchester Avenue). Travel one half mile. Pass the two parkway entrances. Stay in right lane. Follow directions from Merritt Parkway.

From Northern Westchester: Follow 684 South to Hutchinson River Parkway to Exit 1 - Manhattanville Road. At end of ramp, turn left onto Manhattanville Rd. Turn Right on Purchase Street. Turn right at entrance to Hutchinson Parkway South. Stay in right lane, take Exit 26W (287 West – Westchester Avenue). Stay in right lane (Westchester Avenue). Immediately, make a Sharp Right at Red Oak Lane sign. (follow sign for Renaissance Hotel). Turn right at stop sign onto West Red Oak Lane. Entrance to Windward School is less than one eighth mile on left.

From Long Island (Whitestone Bridge): Stay to the left when crossing over the bridge. Follow signs for the Hutchinson River Parkway North. Take the Hutchinson Parkway to Exit 26W (287 West). *Proceed on service road (Westchester Avenue) for less than one-quarter mile. Stay in right lane once you pass entrance to Hutchinson Pkwy S. Make a Sharp Right at Red Oak Lane sign. (follow sign for Renaissance Hotel). Turn right at stop sign onto West Red Oak Lane. Entrance to Windward School is less than one eighth mile on left.

From New York City: Take the Henry Hudson Parkway (which becomes the Saw Mill Pkwy) Take Exit 4, Cross County Parkway East/Hutchinson River Parkway (1st exit in Westchester County). Take the Cross County Parkway East. Stay in the left lane and it will become the Hutchinson River Parkway North to Exit 26W. Follow the directions from Long Island.*

From New Jersey: Follow signs for I-95 North to the George Washington Bridge. As you cross over the GW, Upper Level, stay in the right lane to the Henry Hudson Parkway North. (If you take the Lower Level stay to the left and follow signs for Thru Traffic). Follow signs for “Upstate” not “Downtown Manhattan). Take the Henry Hudson (which becomes the Saw Mill once you reach Westchester County) to Exit 4, Cross County Parkway East/Hutchinson River Parkway (1st exit in Westchester County). Take the Cross County Parkway East. Stay in the left lane and it will become the Hutchinson River Parkway North to Exit 26W. Follow directions from Long Island.

From Rockland County/Garden State Parkway: Take New York State Thruway I-87 South to Exit 8 (287 East). Take 287 East to Exit 9N-S. Stay in Left Lane Only, make a left at traffic light onto Kenilworth Road (you will be crossing over 287). At the next light, make a left onto Westchester Avenue (West.) Travel half a mile. Pass the two parkway entrances. Make immediate right at Red Oak Lane sign (follow sign for Renaissance Hotel). Turn right at stop sign onto West Red Oak Lane. Entrance to Windward School is less than one eighth mile on left.
